General Rules

Jewellery

Should not be worn in school with the exception of stud earrings for pierced ears for girls only, but must be taken out for PE, games and swimming. Boys are not allowed earrings of any sort.

Hair & Hair Accessories

Girls must tie back long hair.  Hair accessories should be plain black, white or green. Boys hair should be cut in a conventional style - no shaved heads, patterns, lines or long hair.

Nails

Nail varnish should not be worn.

Valuables

Money should not be brought to school. Children should not bring electronic games, toys, jewellery or anything of value to school. We cannot take responsibility for anything lost or broken.

Bags

Book bags are available at Hewitts, online at Stitch design or from the school office. We know that rucksacks are available but ask that parents do not buy these as ou classrooms are small and do not have enough space to store them.  They invariably fall on the floor and create a trip hazard.  This is always made clear in the initial parent meetings when your child starts at the school.
